Corum Medical is a development company entering the medical instrumentation market with a focus on handheld noninvasive medical instruments. LumenI™, Corum Medical's first products, are a family of medical instruments for the measurement of blood hemoglobin. It has long been a desire of the entire medical community to be able to measure blood hemoglobin quickly, accurately and without the need for a finger stick or blood draw. LumenI from Corum Medical will address the currently unmet needs of both professional and consumer markets including blood banks, hospitals, physicians' offices, EMS, military, and home care worldwide. The high value delivered to target markets with an attractive equipment-only model, will allow Corum Medical to develop a very profitable high margin business. These instruments differentiate themselves from other products on the market in that they are totally non-invasive, non-contact, highly accurate, cost effective and provide results in real time. Preliminary clinical trials have shown the efficacy of this technology and the ease of use while early patient acceptance of the test has been excellent.

As of January 1, 2007, Corum Medical has established an exclusive, world-wide licensing agreement for the core technology from the consortium of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital which developed the core technology and has applied for three patents. Corum Medical is concurrently working to further develop the technology related to the blood hemoglobin measurement system which will significantly enhance the robustness and ease of use of the instruments, reduce cost and be the basis for additional patent claims.

Our organization is guided by a highly skilled executive team which is supported by a team of advisors composed of the original team of PhD engineers and MDs from Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital respectively. The management team has combined expertise in all aspects of the business, including clinical, regulatory, scientific, electrical and software engineering, manufacturing, finance and marketing.
